It is important to know where and how to shop for your groceries.  A good rule of thumb when in the supermarket --if your grand or great grand mother would not recognize it as a food item, such as certain packaged food like items-- you probably want to stay away from it.  When in Farmer's Markets, try to purchase organic fruits and veggies when possible.
